Provisional bookings will usually be taken over the telephone
and will be held for 4 days, following which we should have
received your completed booking form and relevant deposits
in order that we may confirm the booking.
DEPOSIT
Deposit payable:
Villa / apartment 20% of total rental fee
All extras must be paid on arrival in Menorca
BALANCES
Our confirmation and full statement of account will
be sent to you on receipt of your completed booking form
and deposit. Your final balance payment is due 8 weeks prior
to departure. (Should you book within 8 weeks of departure
the total fee is due)
VILLA/APARTMENT RENTAL
All payments for villa/apartment rental should be made
payable to MENORCA SUN in cheque form and sent to the office:

CAR RENTAL
There is a standard booking fee of £20 per car for
all cars booked. The car rental fee is to be paid direct
to AUTOS VICTORIA on collection of the car booked. This
may be paid either in pesetas or by credit card. (NOT AMERICAN
EXPRESS)
HOLIDAY INSURANCE
We recommend that you purchase holiday insurance
N.B. CHOOSING YOUR APARTMENT or VILLA.
The plans shown in the colour brochure represent typical
examples. Your choice of property may differ from those
plans illustrated.

HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR
HOLIDAY COST
Our villas /apartments are usually available from either
Friday or Monday and are rented in multiples of one weeks
duration according to availability. Occasionally it is possible
to book for 10, 12 or 17 days. The cost per week is for the
villa/apartment and not subject to a sur-charge for under-occupancy.
The cost per week is the same if 2 persons or 6 persons share
a 3 bed-roomed property.
NB 1 Bed-room 2 persons
2 Bed-rooms 4 persons
3 Bed-rooms 6 persons
Most villas/apartments will accommodate a further 1 or
2 persons. Please note there is a supplement of £50
(sofa bed) for each extra person sharing - £25 for
a child under 2 years of age on date of departure. A folding
/ sliding bed or cot can be booked as an extra, charged
in Menorca.
FLIGHTS
We, as villa management agents, are obviously concerned
that you should receive the best possible protection for
your holiday arrangements, particularly when it is frequently
reported that a 'Flight Only' operator has collapsed and
that people have been stranded.
FINANCIAL SECURITY
For the above reason we suggest that flights may be
purchased through MENORCA TRAVEL LTD who are a company specialising
in flights to Menorca. The consumer protection that MENORCA
TRAVEL LTD will provide is far in excess of that which you
will receive from your local travel agent or flight only
operator as all flights are not only confirmed with reliable
ATOL holders but the monies are held in a trust account
and protected by a Travel Trust Association Protection Plan
Insurance up to a maximum of £11,000 per person.

direct to MENORCA TRAVEL LTD by either cheque or credit
card. Confirmation of your flight arrangements will be forwarded
directly to yourselves by MENORCA TRAVEL LTD.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICES SHOWN ABOVE:
The prices shown above include the Management Services of Menorca
Sun - Fornells S.C., all charges for electricity, gas and water,
bed-linen, towels and tea towels appropriate to the number of
persons occupying. These will be changed weekly.
N.B. BEACH TOWELS ARE NOT SUPPLIED.
The prices shown above are for 2 persons in the 1 bedroom
property, 4 persons in the 2 bedroom property and 6 persons in
the 3 bedroom property with no supplement for under-occupancy.
Sometimes it is possible to accommodate an extra person, see to
follow.
There is a supplement of £60 per week for each extra person sharing
(sofa bed), to cover the costs of bed-linen, towels and services.
A child under 2 years on day of departure will be £25 extra. It
is possible to hire a folding / sliding bed or cot at the prices
shown below.
BREAKAGES: All breakages must be reported to the management office
immediately and must be paid for locally prior to departure. We
reserve the right to charge for damage or breakages not reported
and found after departure.

BOOKING
If your required dates are available for the property of your
choice we will hold your provisional booking for 4 working days
following which we should have received your completed booking
form and relevant deposits in order that we can confirm your booking.
Please print the booking form,
complete and send to the address indicated on the booking form.
PAYMENT
All payments for villa/apartment rental should be made by cheque
to MENORCA SUN.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
Our letter of confirmation and a full statement of account will
be sent to you on receipt of your booking form and deposit. Your
final payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure. Should you book
within 8 weeks of departure the total rental fee is due.
CAR HIRE
We can reserve the car of your choice to be waiting either at
the airport or villa/apartment for your arrival. Details on request.
There is a standard booking fee for all cars booked. The car rental
balance is to be paid direct to the car hire company on collection
of the car booked. This may be paid either in pesetas or in sterling
by credit card. (Not American Express)
